How to edit the webform?

InSend has a webform builder. You can choose a pre-built webform template or create your own from scratch.

The type of webform and template

At the “Template” step, select the webform type and template. For example, we have chosen a pop-up with an offer to leave your email address in exchange for $20. Click “Next”.

The main web form settings panel can be accessed by clicking the "Settings" button in the upper right corner. Click on it and the panel will appear on the right side.

Here you can adjust the size of the webform - just change the numbers in the fields.

Important! If you want the web form to be displayed correctly on cell phone screens, its width should not exceed 320 px.

Below you can see how to set the width of the indent from the edge of the web form and change the background color and text.

If you scroll further down in the editing area, you can replace the background image by clicking on the icon on the right. Here you can also adjust the corners and border around the web form, if necessary.

You can customize the message that the visitor sees after submitting the form. To do this, check the corresponding box in the editor and you will get a window where you can edit the text of the message.

Adding blocks

You can also add the blocks you want to the web form and then edit them. If you want to add a block to the web form, just drag it from the left panel to the body of the web form. Each block can be edited. To do so, simply click on the block and the edit box will appear on the right side. To delete a block, move the mouse pointer over the block and a trash icon will appear in the upper right corner of the block.

If you have created custom fields, the corresponding blocks will appear at the bottom of the panel in the "Additional Fields section.

Button

Click on the block with the button and the edit box will open on the right side. Here you can change the text of the button, the background and text color, the font size and the size and indentation of the button.

In addition, you can configure the action that is performed when the visitor clicks the button. For example, you can write "No, thank you" on the button and assign a "Close" action to it.

Text

To make changes to the text, click on the block in the web form and type the desired text in the box that opens on the right. There you can also change the font size, style and alignment. You can add an image, attach a link and insert custom fields. If InSend knows the name of the visitor, it will be displayed in the text of the web form.

Input field

The input field can be edited in the same way. Select it and in the bar on the right you can change the text, the size, the indentation and adjust the appearance - the border and the radius of the rounding.

Important! Please note - is there a check mark next to "Required to fill in"? If there is no check mark, the visitor can use the web form without entering his e-mail address.

Mobile display

You have the ability to customize the design of the web form specifically for mobile devices. To accomplish this, access the editing mode for the mobile version by clicking on the mobile phone icon located at the top-middle of the screen.

Ensure that the width of the form does not exceed 320 pixels, allowing it to fit perfectly on screens of all devices.
