How to put “Dear friend” in the webform if the name in unknown?

You can enter a username or any other information you know into the web form, just as you do with newsletters. If the name is not known, you can use "Dear Friend" or any other phrase you like as a salutation.

Replace the username in the webform

First, paste the username into the web form. Select the text box where you want to insert the name (a blue glow appears around the block). In the right bar there is an editor with icons for formatting. Click on the {...} icon and select the first element, %{FirstName}. Instead of this expression, InSend will insert the name of the user.

To replace the name with "Dear Friend" when you do not know the name, place the cursor between the word "First Name" and the closing curly bracket, and type a vertical stroke | and "Dear Friend" without spaces, something like this:
