Why do I see an empty/different cart when I come from email?
InSend "remembers" the last content of the shopping cart sent from the website and replaces these products in emails. The data is stored in InSend indefinitely until a cart reset event occurs.
Your website stores the content of the shopping cart in 'cookies', and this information is not transferred from device to device. Some CMSs allow you to reset your shopping cart after a certain time.
A few examples:
- InSend sent an auto-email with a delay of 7 days with the products from the shopping cart. The shopping cart data is stored on your website for 5 days. When the user goes to the website through the link in the email, the shopping cart is empty.
- The visitor has products in the shopping cart in the store on PC and left the site. InSend has sent an email with the products from the shopping cart, but the visitor has already opened it on a mobile device. The shopping cart is empty.
