How to Send Different Emails When A/B Testing a Web Form?

If you're conducting an A/B test with different offers, such as various discounts, you'll need to send different emails corresponding to each offer. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to achieve this:

  1. Create A/B Test Web Forms

Please refer to detailed instructions available here

  2. Access the first version of the web form and click on the button. On the right side of the editing window, you'll find the 'action when clicked'. By default, it should be set to send to the InSend. Below that, you can set a parameter. This is where we need to make changes. Click on the text and add a parameter, such as 10%.

  3. Repeat the steps for option 2, but this time set the parameter value to 15%.
  4. Create two emails with different discounts.
  5. When setting up the email, go to the subscribers tab. Ensure that you select the email type as auto-email. In point 1, Subscribers, choose your web form, add an additional condition parameter on the right, and set the value that was specified in the widget. In our case, it would be either 10% or 15%.

  6. Repeat the process for the second email campaign, specifying the second value. Run an A/B test for the web form and launch both emails.

That's it! Now, when users fill out your forms, subscribers will receive emails with different discounts.
